Supplier Payment Due: Urgent Short Term Finance Before Your Customer Pays
Cover the gap between paying your suppliers and being paid, then repay when the money arrives
Experts in strategic, short-term finance
When a supplier invoice, a customs clearance or a stock order falls due before your customer pays, we can fund the payment in as little as 24 hours.
We fund cash flow gaps for businesses across Australia, from $250,000 to $10 million, as a line of credit or a short term loan. The loan is secured by property. Your stock, invoices and receivables are never the security, and the payment you are waiting for is how we are repaid.
Gaps we fund
- •A supplier invoice or deposit due before a large customer pays
- •Import duty and GST due when goods clear customs
- •A progress claim delayed in review for several weeks
- •Stock bought ahead of a seasonal peak
- •A supplier moving your account to cash on delivery
Import costs at the border
The Australian Border Force says GST on imported goods must be paid at the time of clearance, unless the importer is approved for GST deferral. For a large shipment, that payment can fall weeks before the goods are sold. The loan can pay the duty, GST and freight, and the sale of the goods repays it.
Line of credit or a single loan
A secured business line of credit suits repeated gaps: you draw when a supplier payment is due, repay when the customer pays, and draw again for the next order. The facility is secured by a second mortgage, runs for 6 to 18 months and goes up to $2,000,000. A single short term loan suits one large gap with a known payment date.

Repaying from the money you are owed
The loan is repaid from the specific payment you are waiting for: the customer invoice, the progress claim or the sale of the imported goods. A general expectation that trading will improve is not a repayment plan for a lump-sum loan, although a line of credit can be repaid from trading as payments arrive.
Cash flow gaps we have funded
“We ask two questions about a cash flow gap: when the supplier must be paid, and when the customer will pay. If both dates are documented, the customer's payment repays the loan. Send us the two invoices, and we can usually give you terms the same day.”
